The set of sensors and antennas for the Su-27 1:32 is a 3D printed resin set of external sensors, antennas and air pressure probes for a model of the Su-27 in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings 3D printed resin replacements for the external sensors, antennas and air pressure probes on a model of the Su-27 in 1:32 scale. It is exactly these small things that mold worst in injection-molded plastic and that stand out on a finished model. A resin print can manage them at a thickness that matches reality.
On its fuselage and wings the Su-27 carries a whole range of small external items: pressure and angle-of-attack probes, the antennas of radio systems, temperature sensors and warning receivers. Their arrangement differs according to the version and the production batch, so for a modeler they are a clue to which machine it is. In reality they are thin rods and vanes whose scale thickness a mold cannot cast.
First wash the 3D printed parts in warm water with a little dish soap, so that they are rid of the residue of printing resin. Cut the supports off with a sharp blade or a fine saw as close to the part as possible and sand the marks down with your airways protected. Resin does not bond with cement for polystyrene, so use cyanoacrylate glue. Lay a thin coat of primer on before painting, otherwise the paint holds poorly on a smooth print. Hold the small parts over a dish while cutting them off so that they do not get lost, and glue them on only after the surrounding area has been painted.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
