A detail set in 1:72 scale from the Russian manufacturer Temp Models. For it the manufacturer gives the full range of sensors, antennas and air pressure sensors fitted to production Su-34 aircraft of various modifications; as the material it gives resin. The set replaces the coarse plastic bumps from the kit and does not make up an aircraft model.
The Su-34 is a two-seat tactical bomber with the crew seated side by side in an armored cockpit and with a characteristic flattened nose. Its navigation, attack and self-defense equipment called for a large number of antennas, sensors and probes scattered all over the airframe. The arrangement also changes between production batches, so it is exactly by those that a model can be assigned precisely to a particular aircraft.
For this set the manufacturer gives resin as the material. First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry thoroughly, or the primer will not hold. Separate them from the carrier with a sharp scalpel or a saw and sand the cut. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue. Lay down a filler primer before painting and do the sanding wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
