About product

Vallejo Game Color Magic Blue

Magic Blue is an acrylic modeling paint from the Vallejo Game Color range, developed for painters of fantasy figures and dioramas. This water-thinnable acrylic with fine pigments dries to a matte, well-covering surface. The shade is a bright, clean blue, versatile on cloaks, armor and magical effects and as a base for lighter blue transitions. It comes in a dropper bottle.

Use

  • Painting miniatures for fantasy and wargames (plastic, resin, metal).
  • Applied with a brush; for the airbrush and for layering, thin the paint with water or Vallejo thinner.
  • Shake the bottle before use.
  • For an even, adhesive surface underneath, use an acrylic primer.
  • It mixes well with the other Vallejo shades.

Who it is for

For painters of miniatures who want a strong, clean blue in their palette.

A water-thinnable acrylic paint, non-toxic and odorless. Do not thin with alcohol. Store at room temperature out of the reach of children.

FAQ

It is a water-thinnable acrylic. It thins with water or Vallejo thinner, not with alcohol or a cellulose thinner.

Yes, once thinned. Unthinned the paint is too thick for an airbrush.

One or two thin coats are usually enough; over a dark base two are advisable.
