Three Mechander vehicles join into a machine called Mechander Max, and a second trio of Tri Car racing cars makes up Tri Max. Each individual machine can be built and displayed on its own, or they can be linked into the large assembly. The subject is the 1977 Japanese animated series in which the crew's support machines combine just as the title robot does; that principle was typical of the whole wave of the time.
Because the parts are taken apart and rejoined repeatedly, do not overdo the filling and sanding of the mating surfaces, or they will stop holding. Anyone after a higher standard can bring out the engraved lines with a thin panel line wash and set the individual machines apart by the saturation of the shade. Apply the stickers only after the sheen has been evened out; they hold markedly better then. Sort the small parts by color beforehand and you will save yourself the searching.
The contents are plastic sprues and the instructions; you will not find a painted model in the box.
