Hose joints 2.0 mm - Set 3, 1:12 (Decalcas)

An aftermarket detail set, not a kit. It holds miniature joints and end fittings for fuel, oil and coolant hoses 2.0 mm in diameter, for models in the large 1:12 scale. They serve to terminate and connect modeling hoses realistically in the engine bay and running gear. The parts are resin (3D printed) from Decalcas.

Use

  • Cut the parts away from the print supports with a sharp knife.
  • Wash off any uncured print resin residue and let them dry.
  • Fit them onto a modeling hose of the matching diameter and secure with cyanoacrylate glue.
  • Paint them in metallic or anodized shades for a realistic fitting look.

Who the set is for

For advanced large-scale modelers who build engine bays and fluid lines in detail.

The set is an accessory, not a complete model. It does not include glue, paints or the model itself.
