About product

Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black (40 ml) — black filler primer

Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 in the black shade is a fine filler primer (surfacer) from the manufacturer Gunze (GSI Creos / Mr. Hobby) on a lacquer base, intended to prepare the surface of a model before painting. It unifies the surface, fills fine grooves and scratches and creates a key for the paint. The number 1500 indicates the fineness of the grain (by analogy with sandpaper) — it is a very fine finishing surfacer. 40 ml bottle.

Use

  • Applied with a brush or with an airbrush — for the airbrush it has to be thinned (with lacquer thinner); it is not a ready-to-spray mix like an aerosol can
  • A black base helps with coverage and with work on dark or metallic shades
  • It also serves as a fine filler for small grooves and seams (apply it into the defect and sand it down)
  • A lacquer base holds well and dries quickly — work in a well ventilated area

Who it is for

For modelers who want to prepare the surface of a model properly before painting.

Keep out of reach of children. Use in a well ventilated area.
