Pilot figures with survival equipment in 1:32 scale, set number 13 are 3D printed figures from Temp Models. An addition to a model, not a model of an aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings 3D printed figures of Russian Air Force pilots in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. The name of the set refers to the additional survival equipment the figures carry over and above the basic outfit. It is not a model of an aircraft but the crew and the personnel that belong beside it on the apron.
The equipment of a present-day Russian fighter pilot consists of a flight suit, an anti-g garment, the parachute harness and a protective helmet with an oxygen mask. The survival equipment is the part the pilot needs only at the moment he leaves the aircraft: the parachute, the life vest and the pouches with emergency gear. He wears it so as to have it with him during an ejection, so it adds volume on his back, his sides and his thighs. On a figure this shows up as more pronounced straps and bags, which are worth separating by tone when painting.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Paint the figures in layers from the base tone toward the light edges, and leave the face and the hands for last.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model aircraft are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
