About product

IJAAF No. 7 Ohryoku Nana Go Shoku (Yellow Green No. 7), a Mr.Paint lacquer airbrush shade

A Mr.Paint lacquer modeling paint in a 30 ml bottle, pre-thinned for spraying with an airbrush. The shade belongs to the range of Imperial Japanese Army Air Force (IJAAF) colors and corresponds to yellow-green color number 7 (ohryoku nana go shoku), which Japanese army aviation used as a protective and covering shade.

Use

  • It is sprayed with an airbrush straight from the bottle, or thinned with lacquer thinner, never with water.
  • Suitable for the surfaces of Japanese army aircraft in the usual modeling scales.
  • It dries quickly to a thin, smooth film with a fine satin surface.
  • It holds well on plastic, resin and photo-etched parts, best of all over a primer.

Who it is for

Intended for modelers of Japanese Second World War aircraft who will appreciate a period-accurate yellow-green shade ready for spraying. It assumes experience with an airbrush and with lacquer paints.

A solvent-based lacquer paint is flammable and is thinned exclusively with lacquer thinner, never with water. Spray in a well-ventilated space and wear a respirator.
