75mm Gothic knight in Augsburg plate armor (1470 to 1500) is a collector's resin figure for experienced modelers and figure painters.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin figure 75 mm tall portrays a late medieval knight in full Gothic plate armor of the Augsburg type. It is supplied as a kit of several castings for experienced modelers and figure painters; the assembly, the filling and the painting are entirely in the modeler's hands.
Augsburg was one of the leading European centers of plate armor manufacture. The so-called Gothic armor of the end of the 15th century is marked out by slender shapes, fluting and wavy edges, which spread the force of a blow. The figure captures a typical man-at-arms of the period around 1470 to 1500.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The metal surfaces of the armor come out well with the non-metallic metal technique or with good metallic paints, and oils and fine shading will serve for the finishing touches.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
