A resin fantasy figure of an orc chieftain. The manufacturer, the Polish brand PANZER ART, lists it in the 75 mm line as a fantasy subject, the manufacturer's part number FI75-040; the height of 75 mm is the governing dimension. It is a collector's figure for hand painting, not a kit of a machine.
The orc is a character of fantasy literature and of tabletop and computer games: a roughly built, muscular warrior with a pronounced jaw and teeth. A chieftain is told apart from an ordinary warrior by the marks of command — better armor, trophies and a more conspicuous weapon. It is the manufacturer's own interpretation, not a character from a particular movie or game, so the painter has a free hand: skin color, scars, tribal markings and the finish of the metal are all his decision. In the 75 mm line PANZER ART carries further fantasy figures alongside its military subjects.
Wash the parts in warm water with dish soap so that the mold release agent from the mold disappears. Cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Resin holds only on super glue; ordinary cement for plastic will not join it. A primer is a must. A size of 75 mm rewards layering with a brush: build the muscles and the skin from several thin coats, separate the teeth and the nails from the flesh tone, and treat metal and leather on their own. A dry brush suits rough skin, while armor calls for smooth transitions.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
