It is not a realistic historical bust but an artistic, mecha treatment of the first Chinese emperor: a massive ceremonial armored figure with a richly detailed suit of armor and accessories. The model is of plastics (ABS, POM, PVC) with a preassembled internal frame for stability and movement; themed bases are available.
Ying Zheng, known as Qin Shi Huang, united the Chinese states in 221 BC and became the first emperor of a unified China. During his reign the script, the measures and the currencies were unified and a defensive line began to be built, out of which the Great Wall of China later grew; his tomb with the terracotta army is famous as well. This model treats his figure freely, as an imaginative armored stylization.
The structure with the internal frame makes assembly easier, as the individual parts fit into one another. For the greatest effect it helps to bring out the engraving and the edges (panel lines, a wash) and to refine the metal and gold surfaces. Given its size and complexity it is a representative piece for a display case.
The model is supplied unassembled. Paints and glue need not be included in the package; for the final appearance we recommend your own paints.
