A set of fifteen .50 caliber ammunition boxes in 1:35 scale. An accessory for vehicle models, for weapons and for dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
Sheet metal boxes for .50 caliber ammunition, that is 12.7 mm, accompanied American vehicles from the Second World War to the present day. They have a hinged lid and a folding handle and are to be seen just as much on a machine gun on a turret as stacked on a fender, in a bed or thrown around a firing position. That is exactly why they belong among the most universal accessories that can be used on a model.
The package holds fifteen boxes in 1:35 scale. A number like that is enough to equip a vehicle, for a pile beside a weapon and for a scene in progress in a diorama, without having to be sparing.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry perfectly. Paint the boxes in a batch before you seat them on the model, best stuck on double-sided tape. Vary the shades slightly, because the boxes on a real vehicle come from various deliveries and are not faded to the same degree. Suggest chipped places on the edges and around the handle, that is where a box is really handled. Try the placing on the model dry and bond them only once the paintwork of the vehicle is finished.
The set suits modelers of American vehicles and builders of dioramas. The vehicle model, weapons, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
