This paint of the Mr.Color range, with the manufacturer's part number C363, carries the name RAF Medium Seagray and a reference to the British standard number BS637. It is a medium gray from the British palette, which you will use when building RAF aircraft. The number 637 identifies the shade within the standard and has nothing to do with the package volume or the sheen.
There is only one reliable guide to the composition of the paint, and that is the data given by the manufacturer on the packaging. Follow it to choose the thinner intended for this range and keep to the prescribed ratio. Use the same thinner to flush the airbrush and to clean brushes right after work, because dried residue is much harder to remove. Do not mix the paint blindly with products from another system.
Stir the contents of the package properly, otherwise the settled pigment will stay at the bottom and the shade will be uneven. Wash and degrease the base. Gray camouflage shades forgive little, because every uneven coat shows on a large area, so it is better to apply several thin coats and let each one set. Deal with the transitions between masked fields only after the underlying shade has dried.
Builders of British aircraft will appreciate it, because the shade is defined by a standard number and stays the same on every model in the collection. Store the closed container dry and away from frost.
