About product

Vallejo SFX Rust - a rust effect

Rust from the Vallejo Special FX line is an water-based acrylic effect product for a quick and convincing imitation of rust, rust streaks and weathered iron. It is not an opaque paint but a ready-made effect in a warm orange-brown tone. It is non-toxic, odorless and comes in a dropper bottle.

Use

  • It is applied with a brush by dabbing and stippling onto edges, rivets, joints and surfaces.
  • Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
  • For rust streaks, let a thinned coat run from top to bottom.
  • Ideal for military hardware, wrecks, piping and industrial dioramas.

Who it is for
