The landing gear legs for the Su-34 1:32 are a 3D printed set of landing gear legs for a model of the Su-34 tactical bomber in 1:32 scale with steel reinforcement.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set replaces the nose and main landing gear legs of a model of the Su-34 in 1:32 scale. The legs are printed from a strong polymer and reinforced with steel pins, which matters on this heavy machine. They capture the extended position with the lines, the landing light and the mudguard rendered.
The Su-34 is a two-seat tactical bomber of the Su-27 family with an armored cockpit and a high take-off weight. Each main leg carries a pair of wheels set one behind the other, which is an unmistakable feature of this type and at the same time a necessity for operating with a full bomb load. The legs are massive, full of struts, rods and lines. On an aircraft standing still the whole definition is clearly visible.
First wash the 3D printed parts in warm water with a little dish soap, so that they are rid of the residue of printing resin. Cut the supports off with a sharp blade or a fine saw as close to the part as possible and sand the marks down with your airways protected. Resin does not bond with cement for polystyrene, so use cyanoacrylate glue. Lay a thin coat of primer on before painting, otherwise the paint holds poorly on a smooth print. Glue the steel-reinforced legs into a joint that has matured and let the model stand after assembly before you set it down on its wheels.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
