A resin set of landing gear legs for a model of the Su-35 fighter in 1:48 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. For the sets in this series the manufacturer states printing from a strong polymer reinforced with steel pins, and the extended position with the lines, the landing lights and a fender picked out. It is not an aircraft kit but replacement parts for your own model.
The Su-35 is the most capable single-seat machine of the Su-27 family, with a new airframe, more powerful engines and a higher takeoff weight. The main landing gear legs retract forward into the fuselage, the nose leg under the cockpit. On a parked aircraft the legs are full of hydraulics, struts and wiring and a viewer looks them over from every side, so it pays to give them attention.
Release the parts from the supports with a scalpel and level the mating faces. Wash the resin in lukewarm soapy water before painting. Spray the legs before fitting and bring the lines out with a dark tone run into the recesses. A faint oil weep around the shock struts and dust on the lower parts will lend a leg credibility.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
