Naval aviation technician figures in 1:32 scale, set number 11 are 3D printed figures from Temp Models. They capture the ground personnel, not the flight crew.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings 3D printed figures of Russian naval aviation technicians in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. It captures the ground personnel who service carrier-borne and shore-based aircraft. It is not a model of an aircraft but the crew to go with one, that is figures for an airfield or a deck scene.
Work on the deck of an aircraft carrier and at a shore base has its peculiarities compared with an ordinary airfield: less room, more people in a small area and a strict division of tasks by the color coding of the clothing. The technicians move in groups around the folding wings and the arrestor gear, and their poses are more compact than on an open apron. For a diorama such a scene is denser and more striking precisely because of how close the figures and the equipment are.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Paint the figures in layers from the base tone toward the light edges, and leave the face and the hands for last.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model aircraft are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
