Vallejo True Metallic Metal Light, Aged Metal (metallic acrylic paint)

A water-thinnable acrylic metallic paint from the True Metallic Metal line with very fine metal pigments and a realistic sheen in figure scale. The Aged Metal shade is a muted, aged metal tone and this Light version is its lighter variant for highlighting. In the Base, Shade and Light system, Light is the highlighting color for edges and lit spots, while the base tone covers the surface. The paint is non-toxic and odorless, is thinned with water and comes in an 18 ml dropper bottle.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use so that the metal pigment is stirred up.
• Apply it with a brush to a smooth, well prepared ground; it covers over both a black and a white base.
• It serves as the highlighting tone on the edges and highlights of old, weathered metals.
• Apply metallic paints toward the end, as they are harder to mask and to overspray.
• Once thinned with water it can also be applied with an airbrush; the line has a separate airbrush version for spraying.
