Aber Engrave plate (140 x 39 mm) - pattern 17 is an etched brass die thanks to which a modeler creates a sheet with a relief surface texture himself.
Responsibility details are not available.
The plate measuring 140 x 39 mm is made of brass and carries over its whole area a precisely etched repeating relief, recorded by the Polish maker Aber as pattern 17. It is not a part of a model but a tool: a die into which thin material is pressed so that it takes over its texture. The sheet obtained then replaces the smooth plastic surface of a kit or serves as the basis of a part made by your own hand.
In building your own parts, in modifying military vehicles, in making floors, platforms and panels, in dioramas and in railway modeling. A textured surface gives a model depth and, once painted, holds shadows far better than a smooth area.
For modelers who want to go beyond the contents of the box - above all for scratchbuilders and diorama builders. The plate is durable and usable over and over without limit.
Brass edges can be sharp after etching. Keep out of the reach of small children. Foil, glue and paints are not included in the package.
