U-STAR photo-etched scribing template

An accurate photo-etched template from U-STAR meant for scribing and restoring panel lines and details on plastic models. Straight edges, curves and shaped cutouts are etched into the thin metal sheet and serve as a guide for a scriber. Thanks to them you run the scribing tip along an exact line and get clean, even grooves.

Use

• Lay the template on the surface of the part and hold it in place (masking tape helps).
• Run several light strokes along the etched edge with a scriber or the tip of a knife, without pressing hard.
• Suitable for restoring lines wiped out by sanding and for adding new panels, hatches and ventilation openings.
• The metal edges are easy to clean and they last for many uses.
