A fabric face mask printed with the German Erbsenmuster camouflage pattern. It is intended for adults and can be washed and worn repeatedly. Size M.
Responsibility details are not available.
Erbsenmuster, literally pea pattern, is the German camouflage introduced in 1944. Instead of soft blotches it works with a regular grid of small dots that merges at a distance into an indeterminate gray-green area. Among modelers it is one of the most frequently painted patterns of all, because it appears on camouflage smocks and on helmet covers alike. On models it is moreover painted in two seasonal versions, a spring and an autumn one.
It is not a modeling material. It is a fabric face mask for adult wearers that can be washed and put on repeatedly; it is supplied in size M with dimensions of 28 by 14 centimeters. Conformity is stated with the Spanish standard UNE 0065 of 2020, which sets the requirements for the material, the cut, the workmanship, the labeling and the use of reusable face masks for adults. That regulation does not apply to children's sizes.
The same range comes in several further prints, from modern field patterns through tiger camouflage to aviation motifs. So a choice can be made according to whatever one happens to be working on at the modeling bench. As a small item for a modeler it has the advantage that it takes up no room in a display case and yet carries a recognizable motif.
