Tamiya lapping abrasive film 2000 grit (3 pcs)

A fine lapping (polishing) abrasive film from Tamiya of 2000 grit in a pack of three. This is not a kit but a modeling supply for the final treatment of surfaces. The film has a thin, flexible backing, thanks to which it adapts well to the shape of a part and allows very fine sanding and polishing.

Use

• Polishing lacquer and clear parts (canopies, headlights) to a high gloss
• Smoothing out small irregularities and transitions after filling
• Preparing the surface before applying decals or a further coat of lacquer
• Wet sanding for a cleaner result and a longer life of the film

Who it is for

It will be appreciated by modelers who care about a perfect surface, above all on the polished finishes of cars and motorcycles or on aircraft glazing. The high 2000 grit is meant for the final fine stages, not for coarse removal of material.

Wet sanding with moderate pressure is recommended. Store in a dry place, out of the reach of children.
