The dimensions stated, 84 x 185 mm, match a tall, narrow version for a single exhibit. A flat upper surface gives the case a more sober look and does not distort the view of the exhibit from above. It is not a kit nor an accessory for a model but separate equipment for showing finished work.
A flat top suits where you want to view the exhibit from above as well, without the optical distortion of a curved cover, and where the case is to fit into a restrained interior. The choice between the flat and the rounded version of the same size is therefore above all a question of looks. Before buying, check the height of your exhibit including its plinth, so that it fits comfortably under the cover.
The size given in the name is the external dimension of the case. The usable internal height is somewhat smaller, because the base with the lighting takes part of it, so leave yourself a margin. Take the cover off with both hands and do not lift the case by it. It is cleaned with a soft dry cloth, or with a little water without detergent. Solvents and alcohol do not suit clear covers and can dull them or set off hairline cracks in them.
The display case is a separate product. A model, a figure and a plinth are not included in the package.
