White boards of foamed PVC one millimeter thick and 200 x 300 mm in format, three pieces in a package. A material for building structures, floors and flat parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
Foamed PVC is the material anyone reaches for who is building a structure, a floor or a flat surface and does not want to struggle with hard plastic. A thickness of one millimeter is the thinnest variant and suits everywhere a wall is to be really subtle: partitions, cladding, dividing panels, the interior fittings of rooms or a surface under a textured layer. The package holds three sheets measuring 200 x 300 millimeters in white.
Working it is undemanding. A board is scored with a modeling knife along a ruler and snapped, the edges are leveled with sandpaper and the surface can be drilled and milled without trouble. The surface is closed, so it holds acrylic and synthetic paint alike, and the white shade makes it easier to judge the covering power of a finish. It is glued with super glue, with white glue and with double-sided tape, depending on whether the joint has to carry something or only hold in place.
A thin board is flexible, can be bent into a gentle curve and glued onto a framework without cracking. That is how it differs from the thicker forms of the same range, which hold their shape on their own. When building a larger structure it is therefore sensible to combine the two: the thick board forms the load-bearing shell, the thin one is used for cladding and details.
The material is odorless, does not splinter, and the offcuts can be used for wedges, stiffeners and shims under parts. The remains of one sheet thus usually serve on several further builds and almost nothing in the package goes to waste.
