This is a detailed cockpit set from the Czech maker Eduard, produced by modern direct 3D printing from resin in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of the airplane but a replacement pilot station interior meant to be fitted into the plastic Fw 190F-8 kit. Thanks to the fine 3D printing it offers crisper detail of the instrument panel, the seat, the side consoles and the control levers than injection-molded plastic can manage.
It replaces the original plastic cockpit with a more faithful and more broken-up interior with high-resolution detail. Once it is built in and painted, it markedly lifts the look of an open cockpit, where the interior is best visible.
This is not a kit of the airplane but a 3D-printed resin accessory for experienced modelers. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, without the base model; glue, paints and the kit are not part of the package.
