A gaming measuring tool 12 inches long in a green finish, that is roughly thirty centimeters for measuring at the gaming table.
Responsibility details are not available.
In tabletop battle games almost every turn rests on a measured distance: the movement of a figure, the range of a weapon, the reach of an order or an ability. The rules usually give them in inches, so at the table it pays to have a measuring tool in that unit rather than to convert from a centimeter rule. A length of twelve inches, that is roughly thirty centimeters, covers the ordinary distances in one application.
The color finish has a practical point. The measuring tool is easy to find on a gaming board among terrain and figures, and the colors let the players keep track of whose tool is which. Green suits anyone who matches the color to an army or keeps a set of aids in one color; on a green gaming mat, though, reckon with it blending in more than vivid signal colors do.
Lay the measuring tool flat and read it vertically from above, because an oblique view skews the distance. Do not cut along it with a knife, as a damaged edge no longer measures straight. Store it lying flat out of direct sunlight and wipe it with a damp cloth and no solvents.
It suits a player of tabletop battle games as well as a modeler who occasionally needs to measure a gap or a spacing quickly at a display case, and it serves as a second measuring tool for a fellow player.
Figures, terrain and the rules of the game are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
