Green Flesh Spray is a modeling paint in a pressurized can from the brand AK Interactive. Unlike bottled paints for airbrush and brush it is not thinned and is applied straight from the can: you only shake the can and spray. That does away with mixing in thinner and with cleaning an airbrush, so the spray is a quick route to an even base coat on a model, a figure or an accessory.
The name refers to green flesh, that is to the shade used in figure modeling on the skin of orcs, goblins, the undead and other non-human beings. As a base coat before painting it saves a great deal of time: large areas of skin get a uniform tone and the modeler then only adds shadows, transitions and highlights. It also serves well where you want a green base under later glazes, under which the modeling of muscles and folds comes out. On the metal parts of armor, on leather and on cloth, move on with a brush.
The result stands or falls by the surface. First rid the parts of grease and fingerprints with lukewarm water and dish soap and let them dry; on resin and printed parts remove the remains of mold release agent. Use a primer to even differently colored materials out, because on primer the shade sits evenly and holds better. Shake the can for at least a minute before work and make a test spray on an offcut: that way you check how the nozzle runs and how the shade looks once dry. Spray with short passes from a distance, in several thin coats with a pause to flash off, because a single heavy coat floods the engraving and the fine detail. Work in the warm and out of a draft, and after spraying turn the can upside down and press briefly so that the nozzle clears. Before you put varnish, decals or products of another line over the paint, test the compatibility in a hidden spot.
The paint is applied straight from the can and is not thinned. The model, a base and other accessories are not included in the package.
A pressurized can with a flammable content. Spray in a well ventilated space or outdoors, away from open flame and sources of sparks, protect your eyes and airways, do not expose the can to heat and keep it out of reach of children.
