GUNDAM DECAL 121 MS GUNDAM AGE MULTIUSE 1

Gundam Decal 121 — MS Gundam AGE Multiuse 1

This is a sheet of decals, not a kit. The set belongs to the numbered range of decal sheets that Bandai issues as an accessory to its mecha models. The Multiuse designation means a general-purpose sheet — it holds markings, lettering and technical captions that you place on a model as you see fit, not decals tied to a single particular machine. Thematically the sheet covers markings for models from the Gundam AGE series. Compare the size of the motifs with the model you want to use them on before you buy.

What the decals are for

Snap-fit models in colored plastic look smooth and empty once assembled. It is precisely the small technical captions, warning markings and unit designations that give the surface its sense of scale and read more convincingly than painting the whole thing. A general-purpose sheet has the advantage that it covers more than one model, and the rest of the sheet can be used on further builds too.

How to apply the decals

• First think the placing out dry, ideally from a photograph or from the instructions.
• Let the surface dry perfectly and unify the area under the decal with a gloss clear coat.
• Separate the motifs with a sharp scalpel, not by tearing, so that you do not damage the neighboring markings.
• Once dry, varnish the surface with a matte or semi-gloss varnish, so that the edges disappear.
• Follow the instructions in the package — the method of transfer differs between the individual ranges of sheets.

Who the sheet is for

• For builders of mecha models who want to add technical markings.
• For those who need a general-purpose sheet usable on more than one build.
• For modelers building machines from the Gundam AGE series.

This is an accessory, not a model. The kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
