The GUNPLA BATTLE ARM ARMS plastic set from the Japanese company Bandai, from the gunpla field. The parts are pre-colored in the plastic and snap together, without glue.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic set from the Japanese company Bandai. The name refers to gunpla, that is, to the modeling side of the Gundam world, and to the word battle, which in Bandai's labeling goes with playful, combat elements. What exactly the package contains is stated on the box of the set; what is certain from the name is the brand, the plastic construction and the method of assembly.
Bandai builds what are called snap-fit models. The parts are already colored in the plastic and the individual components snap together, so the model comes about without glue and without a single stroke of a brush. The molds are accurate, the seams come out tight, and the color separation of the parts takes the place of masking and spraying. The range designation tends to be part of the name and hints at how demanding the build is.
Separate the parts with sprue cutters a little away from the part and clean up the rest of the gate with a file or a sanding sponge, so that no white burr is left on the colored plastic. Snapped joints hold firmly, but do not overstress the plastic in exposed places. Anyone who wants to go further can spray the parts before putting them together, pick out the engraved lines with a paneliner and unify the whole with a matte or semi-gloss varnish. Dry transfer decals, which Bandai uses with gunpla, also suit pre-colored plastic.
The parts are pre-colored in the plastic and snap together. Glue and paints are not needed for the build; tools and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
