The taller version of a hedge, length 20.9 cm, height from 2.54 to 10.1 cm. One piece in the package.

The difference between a low clipped hedge and a mature field margin is not only a matter of centimeters. A taller belt of bushes is already a screen behind which a vehicle or a figure can be hidden, and a modeler works with it differently in a landscape: it does not divide an area visually but spatially. That property is exactly what makes it interesting for scenes with military equipment as well as for rural settings, where it has to be clear that something behind the hedge is out of sight.
The package holds one belt 20.9 cm long whose height varies from 2.54 to 10.1 cm. The irregular upper outline matches growth that has not been cut for years. The highest point is almost four times the lowest, so a single belt covers the transition from a low border to a dense thicket.
With a taller hedge it matters where the scene is viewed from. Set across the line of sight it closes off the background and simplifies the back of a scenic base; laid along an edge it instead creates a frame that holds the viewer's attention inside the scene. Leaving a gap in the line and filling it with a worn footpath or with wheel ruts proves itself.
With this kind of item the size is given in inches as well as centimeters and the two series do not always agree on the last digit. Go by the range in centimeters given above; for comparison with other elements of a scene it is more reliable. Before fixing it the same applies as with the lower belts: stand it dry first, check it by eye and only then glue.
