AK interactive Medium Sand 17 ml - acrylic modeling paint

Medium Sand is a modeling paint, not a kit. It is a medium sand shade from the 3rd Generation Acrylics range by AK interactive, that is a water-thinnable acrylic in a 17 ml dropper bottle. The paint is strongly pigmented, covers well, dries flat and holds on plastic, resin and metal. It is thinned with water or with the manufacturer's acrylic thinner, never with cellulose thinner, and is applied with a brush or an airbrush.

Use

• Desert camouflage - vehicles used in desert and dry environments (North Africa, the Middle East). It serves as the base sand tone as well as the lighter patches of two-tone schemes.
• Sand and dry earth on dioramas - a base under pigments, coloring sand, dusty roads.
• Canvas, tarpaulins, tents, straps and crates - a natural sand tone without a gray cast.
• Faded surfaces and lightening - mixed into the base color it creates a sun-bleached shade, ideal for upper surfaces and edges.
• With a brush and with an airbrush once thinned to the consistency of milk, in thin coats.

Who the paint is for

For builders of military vehicles in desert schemes, for diorama builders and for everyone who needs a clean sand tone. Compared with its sister shade Buff, Medium Sand is cleaner and distinctly yellower, closer to real sand - whereas Buff is grayer and dirtier, that is closer to dust. It is practical to have both: Medium Sand as the base sand color and Buff for dusting and weathering, which break the camouflage up and tie it together.

A water-thinnable acrylic. When spraying with an airbrush, make sure of sufficient ventilation and protect your airways (a respirator). Keep out of the reach of children. The paint is supplied on its own: brushes, thinner and an airbrush are not included in the package.
