Hellboy Paint Set with figure

Vallejo Hellboy, a set of acrylic paints with a figure

A licensed set of Vallejo acrylic paints, completed with a figure. These are paints of the Model Color range: water-thinnable acrylics with high opacity and a thicker consistency, made first and foremost for brush application. They can be used in an airbrush, but always only after thinning; undiluted Model Color is too thick for spraying. This is not a model kit but a set of paints with an accompanying figure.

Use

• painting figures and smaller collector's models with a brush
• layering and shading: the paint can be thinned with water or with the same brand's acrylic thinner
• application through an airbrush after thinning to a thinner consistency
• touch-ups and detail work, where good opacity on a small area is needed

Who the set is for

The set suits beginning as well as advanced figure painters who want a coherent palette of shades for one subject instead of assembling colors bottle by bottle, and collectors interested in the figure supplied together with the paints. Acrylic chemistry is friendly to work with at home: it is thinned with water, brushes are cleaned with water right after work and no smell of solvents lingers in the room. Always shake the bottle thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles to the bottom. On a smooth base, acrylic holds better with reasonable surface preparation, and on figures a thin coat of primer works well.

Store the paints well closed and protect them from frost and direct sunlight. When spraying and when sanding painted surfaces, ventilate and protect your airways. Keep out of the reach of children.
