This set solves one of the most demanding steps in painting figures and busts, namely the painting of the eyes. Instead of laboriously painting tiny details with a brush, it is enough to apply a finished waterslide decal with a realistically rendered human iris and pupil.
The sheet holds eyes in several sizes, so that for a given figure you can pick a pair that fits exactly. The fine color printing with its three-dimensional effect gives the figure's gaze the depth and life that are hard to achieve with a brush.
The decal is applied in the usual wet way: cut it out, dip it in water for a few seconds, slide it into place and press it down gently. Once dry, we recommend going over it with matte varnish to even the surface out.
