It is not a figure or a kit. An acrylic stand is a flat cut-out of clear acrylic with color printing that seats in a base and stands on a desk, a shelf or in a display case. The printing carries the motif of the character Rei Ayanami from the anime Evangelion. The item falls into the Ichibansho line and carries the subtitle Operation Started!, which groups the whole set of Evangelion stands together. The customer gets a finished piece with nothing further to do to it.
Rei Ayanami is the pilot of Eva-00 and together with Shinji and Asuka she makes up the central trio of the series. She is a closed-off, taciturn character with blue hair and red eyes, whom viewers see as the most enigmatic part of the story. It is exactly her austere expression and her white and blue pilot suit that are the motifs appearing most often on collector items.
An acrylic stand is displayed on its own or as an accompaniment to figures from the same series. The printing is laid on a smooth acrylic panel, so keep a coarse cloth away from the stand and clean it dry with a soft wipe; abrasive cleaners and solvents would damage the printing. As with other collector items, direct sunlight does the colors no good.
This is a finished collector item. It is not glued, painted or assembled.
