A set of precisely die-cut self-adhesive circular masks (discs) in the range of diameters from 7.0 to 7.9 millimeters from the manufacturer Peewit. They serve for masking circular areas when spraying, typically the centers of wheels and rims, hubs, instruments or other circular details that you want to protect from paint or, on the contrary, to give a crisp circular transition. It is not a kit and not a model but a masking accessory. The discs are graded in tenths of a millimeter, so you choose the diameter to fit the given area exactly and avoid the laborious cutting of a circle out of tape, which rarely comes out perfectly.

Use

• Lift the disc off the backing film with pointed tweezers and center it exactly on the area to be masked.
• Press it down around the circumference so that the edge seats well and paint does not run under the mask.
• Spray the surrounding area; once dry, take the mask off while the varnish is still fresh.
• For a colored circle, spray over the surrounding mask instead and fill the exposed disc in separately.
• Choose a diameter a little larger or smaller depending on whether you are masking an area or creating a circular sprayed patch.
