What the accessory is for

White blossom is one of the strongest tools for placing a scene in time. It reads at once as spring or early summer and works well by country fences, field margins, gardens, the edges of paths and station walls. White also creates a contrast against green grass and gray ballast, so it visually brightens the scene even in a photograph.

Usage tips

• Lay the bushes out dry and glue them only once you have found the composition, so that the scene does not look evenly spread out.
• Glue them to the terrain with PVA glue; on a hard base a small drop of cyanoacrylate glue works well.
• Add static grass or a fine scatter material at the foot of the bush so that the transition into the terrain is not abrupt.
• Do not combine too many shades of blossom in one scene, two colors are usually enough.
• Keep the flowering vegetation in the same season as the rest of the greenery and as the color of the grass.
