This is a set of soft lead wire with a flat section of 0.4 x 1.0 mm and a length of 140 mm, packed in roughly ten pieces. It is not a kit but a material for detailing. Compared with the thinner variant it has a heavier profile, so the straps and strips it suggests are more prominent and hold their shape better.

Use

• Imitating more robust securing straps, fittings and flat strips.
• Running flat bundles and edging in interiors, engines and bays.
• Shaping with your fingers or tweezers; lead holds the shape you give it with no spring-back.
• Bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); it can be filled and sprayed with paint.

Who it is for

For modelers who want a more prominent flat detail than the thinnest profiles give. Especially suitable for military vehicles and larger scales.
