A PLAYMARKER pen, light skin

A marker pen from the PLAYMARKER range in a light skin shade. The tip applies the color itself, so there is no need for a brush, a palette or mixing. That comes in handy with figures, where the uncovered areas of skin are small and divided into dozens of little places, and for short jobs for which opening a bottle is not worth the trouble.

Where the color is used

A light skin tone suits the faces, necks, ears, hands and bare arms of figures, and also the small places where skin peeps out between parts of the equipment. It also finds use as a lighter complement to the darker skin shades of the range, when a difference between figures is meant to show in one army or party. It also serves well for repairing a face that has been scuffed while the figure was handled.

How to work with the marker

• In a hidden place, check first how the shade looks over the base in question.
• Build the skin up in thin coats and let the color dry between passes.
• Wipe the tip on a paper towel before putting it away, so that color from the model does not build up in it.
• On a smooth gloss finish the color holds less well than over a matte base.
• Handle thinning, cleaning the tip and any overcoating according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
• Store the marker carefully closed so that the tip does not dry out.

What is supplied is the marker pen in the stated shade. Figures, other shades, varnishes and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Keep out of reach of children and work in a well ventilated room.
