Tamiya LP-24 Semi Gloss Clear (transparent semi-gloss varnish)

Tamiya LP-24 Semi Gloss Clear is a solvent-based lacquer paint in a bottle with a volume of 10 ml. It is transparent and once dry gives a satin, semi-gloss surface, a compromise between a high gloss and a matte finish. It is applied with an airbrush and with a brush and dries quickly. It is not an opaque paint but a clear varnish for finishing and protecting a surface.

Use

• Apply in thin coats with an airbrush or a brush; before spraying, thin it with the thinner of the same (lacquer) range from the manufacturer.
• A semi-gloss layer unifies the sheen of the whole model and gives it a realistic satin look, which tends to be neither as mirror-glossy nor as matte as the extremes.
• Use it as a final protective layer over a coat of paint and decals; its fast drying speeds finishing up.
• Suitable for large areas and for details, and it can be combined with other lacquer paints of the range.
