Tamiya LP-41 Mica Blue

This is a lacquer paint from the Tamiya Color Lacquer Paint range in a bottle holding 10 ml. The shade is a deep blue with a metallic, mica sheen that comes into its own above all on car bodies and painted surfaces.

Use

• It is thinned only with lacquer (Tamiya) thinner, not with water or an acrylic thinner.
• Stir it thoroughly before use and during spraying so that the metallic particles do not settle to the bottom.
• The best effect comes on a smooth base, ideally over a gloss undercoat, in thin coats.
• Apply metallic shades toward the end; they are harder to overspray and to mask.
