This is a modeling paint in a rich red shade, which the manufacturer lists under the designation LP-50 in the LP range. On models red comes into its own above all as a signal and warning area, as part of sporting and competition schemes on vehicles and motorcycles and as the color of small details, from fire extinguishers to markings on aircraft. The shade does not depend on scale, so one bottle will serve for a model in a small and in a large scale alike.
Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging and use the thinner intended for this range. Stir the contents of the bottle thoroughly before work, so that pigment settled at the bottom is spread through the whole volume. Apply the paint in thin coats and let the surface dry between them; a heavy coat floods fine surface detail and with a rich red it easily runs into engraved lines.
Red covers less well than dark shades, so it pays to lay a light base coat under it. On bare dark plastic the shade looks murky and needs more coats before it evens out. Wash and degrease the model before painting, otherwise the paint will form patches on greasy spots. After work, wipe the rim of the bottle and close it carefully, otherwise the cap will dry shut in time.
Thinner, brushes, an airbrush and the model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
