Luminous Orange (RAL 2005)

Luminous Orange RAL 2005 (Mr.Paint)

A brilliant orange, fluorescent (neon) shade from the lacquer range of Mr.Paint to the RAL 2005 Luminous Orange standard. It is a signal, highly visible orange of the kind carried for example by the conspicuous warning bands of training and target machines. Fluorescent paints inherently have lower coverage than ordinary shades, so they come out best over a white or light base. The paint is a solvent-based lacquer supplied ready for spraying, with fine pigment and quick drying to a smooth surface.

Use

• Intended for an airbrush; the paint is ready for spraying directly and usually needs no thinning.
• If need be, it is thinned with this brand's lacquer thinner, not with water.
• For full brilliance, apply it in thin coats over a white or light base.
• Suited to the warning bands of training and target machines and to conspicuous day markings.
• Fluorescent pigments fade in time; for saturation choose more thin coats.

Who it is for

For modelers who need a signal fluorescent orange for conspicuous surfaces and markings and work with an airbrush and lacquer paints. Mr.Paint lacquers are not primarily intended for the brush.

Lacquer-based paint: flammable. Spray in a well-ventilated area and with respiratory protection (a respirator), out of the reach of children and away from open flame.
