MAPLE AUTUMN LEAVES 1:35 / 1:32 / 75MM / 90MM (7GR. BAG)

Maple leaves, autumn coloring — a scenic accessory for dioramas

It is neither a model nor a kit, but material for making scenery. The pack holds small leaves of maple shape in autumn coloring, which are scattered or glued on individually onto the diorama base, onto the branches of trees and bushes or among the grass. According to the name, the size of the leaves is chosen for 1:35 and 1:32 scales and for figures 75 and 90 mm tall. The weight of the pack given in the name is seven grams. The maker is AK interactive.

Use

• Scattering fallen leaves on the ground of a diorama and along the edges of paths
• Putting leaves on the canopies of trees and bushes made from wire or natural materials
• Adding to parked equipment — leaves caught on the running gear, the fenders and in the grilles
• A base for autumn and early winter scenes with decaying leaves
• Making bases for figures of the larger sizes

Who it is for

The accessory will be appreciated by builders of dioramas and vignettes who work in the larger scales, as well as by figure modelers, for whom the leaves help bring a base to life. The leaves are most often fixed with thin PVA glue (white glue) thinned with water and a drop of detergent; it is applied with a dropper so that the glue runs between the layers and fixes them without leaving shiny patches. It pays to build up in stages — thinly at first, then adding another layer once it has dried where the leaves are to be piled up. The coloring can be adjusted with a light overspray or with toning; before you reach for the airbrush, try the effect on a small sample, because a heavy overspray will shift the leaves and stick them together.

This is a scenery material for dioramas, not a model or a kit. The exact composition, the material of the leaves, their size in millimeters and the number of pieces in the pack are stated on the packaging. Keep small loose material out of the reach of young children.
