A model of the Italian sporting SUV Maserati Levante in the GTS version, assembled from plastic bricks. The manufacturer is the Polish brand COBI, so the model is put together with no glue and no painting, merely by clipping the parts into one another. In extent it is a smaller set suitable as a complement to a collection or as a gift.
The Levante is the first SUV in the history of Maserati, presented in 2016. The car combines a higher ride height and all-wheel drive with a chassis tuned for dynamic driving; the equipment includes air suspension with adjustable height. The GTS version stands in the upper part of the range and uses a V8 engine with twin turbochargers. The body with its falling roofline and massive grille holds the family look of the brand even in a considerably larger format than Maserati had been used to.
Build step by step according to the instructions and press every part fully home; on the taller body of an SUV a brick that is not seated shows mainly on the roof and on the pillars. Keep checking the symmetry of the flanks and whether all the wheels stand in one plane. Lift the finished model by the chassis, not by the roof and not by the mirrors. Protect a model on display from direct sunlight and remove dust from it with a soft brush, not with a damp cloth.
The kit is supplied unassembled. Neither glue nor paints are needed for the assembly.
