The AMX-30 was a French Cold War main battle tank introduced in the 1960s. It put mobility and low weight ahead of heavy armor; the main armament was a 105 mm gun. The vehicle formed the backbone of the French armored forces and was exported to a number of countries.
Photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife, bent with a bending tool and glued with super glue. Bare metal elements are best degreased and primed before painting. On a tank, detailing pays off on the fenders, the engine compartment grilles and the small external elements of the hull and the turret.
