A large grid and its place in a collection

The larger the tray, the more time saved during a game, but also the greater the demands on space. An extensive formation needs a clear corridor to move along and room to turn, otherwise the player ends up in a situation where the unit physically has nowhere to pass. It is therefore worth having a combination in a collection: one large grid for the main unit and smaller trays for the same base size for separated groups and escorts. The formation can then be assembled at the table as the situation demands, without losing the uniform spacing. The same rule applies to storing a collection, where a large tray serves as the foundation and smaller ones fill the remaining places in a box.
