About product

AK Medium Sanding Pads 220 (4 pcs)

A set of four flexible sanding pads from AK Interactive in 220 grit, that is, medium coarseness. The abrasive is laid on a springy backing that conforms to rounded and to flat surfaces and follows the shape of a part better than rigid abrasive paper.

Use

Removing parting lines and flash on plastic parts.
Leveling dried putty and joints.
Sanding dry and wet.
The pads can be rinsed out and used again.

Who they are for

They suit plastic modelers for coarser preparatory sanding before a finer finish and before a primer goes on.

When sanding wet, make sure of enough rinsing, and when sanding dry, respiratory protection is recommended.
