Meeples 16x16x8mm - Yellow

Meeples 16x16x8mm - Yellow — yellow meeples for following turn order

Yellow is the most conspicuous of the game colors, and that is why it suits well the role that absolutely everybody at the table has to see: who is on turn, who starts the round and which way the order moves. A meeple is laid in front of a player or on an order track and the state of the game is legible without asking. The dimension of 16 x 16 x 8 mm is given directly in the name.

What it is suited to

• A marker of the active player that moves on in every round.
• An indicator of the first player in games where the right to open a round is passed around.
• Telling the order of actions apart when players claim places in one sequence.
• Filling the yellow side into a set from which it is missing or has got lost.
• Highlighting a temporary state that is to end with the end of a round.

Order at the table without needless asking

Most disputes at a gaming table arise not from the rules but from players not remembering where the game has got to. A physical marker in a fixed place solves that more reliably than an agreement: as long as the meeple is lying in front of you, it is clear who is being waited for. A conspicuous color moreover works even when a board is filled with cards and tokens.

Who it is for

For players of board and tabletop games, for gaming clubs and for anybody who puts their own scenarios together and needs a simple, reusable marker. It finds a use when clearing up after a game as well, because a uniform color set is sorted faster than randomly gathered components.
