This is a set of metal clips (alligator clips) on a long handle, used to hold parts and figures during painting. You grip the part in the clip and hold it by the handle far enough away from the paint, so that your hands stay clean and you can reach the part from every side. The jaws are usually covered with a plastic layer so that they do not damage the part. The clips suit both spraying and hand painting and can be stuck into a base, which leaves your hands free while the part dries.
