This is a modeling tool, precision nippers meant for separating plastic parts from the sprues (gates). The cutting edge is designed to snip the part off close to the surface and leave as little gate remnant as possible to clean up.
Use the nippers on plastic parts (styrene, resin, soft metal castings up to a thickness they will take); they are not meant for hard wire or for photo-etched metal frets, so that the cutting edge is not damaged.
Suitable for plastic modelers at every level who want a clean separation of parts without straining the joint and with a minimum of cleaning up.
After use we recommend protecting the cutting edge with its cap. Keep the nippers clean and dry.
